Pretty vintage cut/faceted amythyst-colored glass beaded necklace from the 20s or 30s. Composed of spherical light purple beads, separated from one another by little spherical and smooth white/milk glass beads. The purple beads graduate in size, with the largest in the center. The clasp is brass-tone metal, unmarked.
Excellent condition, necklace is fully wearable and presentable. I have recently restrung this however, the original string had broken. The replacement string is brand-new silk pearl string and I doubled stringed the beads for durability. I'm sure you'd find a few very tiny and minor dings or scuffs to the individual beads if you checked them with a loup, however they all appear fine to the naked eye. The clasp is a bit patinaed with age.
16" overall length, the largest bead measures about 1/2" in diameter.
