Super sweet and pretty colorful floral embroidered vintage linen dress from the early 60s. Crisp off-white linen, with beautiful flowers on the collar, sleeves, and outlining the front pockets of the skirt. It looks like the embroidery is hand done, but I'm not 100% positive. Little cut glass flower buttons up the front, for show only. Closes with a metal zipper up the back, topped with a hook/eye set. Fully lined in organza, the only label is one hidden in the skirt from the store Blum's Vogue of Chicago (they sold high-end RTW, so this might be missing a more important label). Matching linen covered belt.
Condition is very good, this is fully wearable. The buttons up the front are replacements (the originals were linen covered metal that had rusted through and weren't usable). The lining has a tiny bit of yellowing at the underarms, unseen from the exterior. It is also starting to split in a couple places, again unseen and this doesn't effect wearability. The belt is a tiny bit dirty and has a little wear to the linen covering the buckle-it is still usable though.
