Adorable vintage jacket/coat for a little girl from the 40s. Black gaberdine wool, with little blue wool felt lambs appliqued to the front and back hems, sleeve cuffs. Decorative blue stitching around collar, 5 blue plastic buttons at the chest. Lined in lightweight peach wool crepe. No tags or labels.
Condition is fair to good, still can be worn or (more likely) used for a doll. There are unfortunately some small sections of holes/fray wear from before I acquired the jacket (it has since been frozen a couple times in the years I've had it, and been stored with cedar/lavender). The damage ranges from individual tiny thin points you have to look for, to sections 1/2" or so that have more than one point of wear/small cluster. There are very few actual holes, and those there are are tiny and not in obvious places. A couple small and very faint spots if you check closely.
Not sized, measurements are: 27" chest, 26" waist, 12" shoulders, 15 1/2" sleeves, 21" shoulders to hem.
